Having spent a year in the tuition of Dr David Cranswick RA, and learnt the skills employed by the Old Masters, I am developing my own style through experimentation and practice. I find portraiture thrilling and challenging whilst landscape painting helps me to discover an inner peace and tranquillity which I endeavour to depict. My sepia portraits take one sitting of between 1½ hours to 3 hours.
